A property management company dedicated to providing safe, supportive temporary and permanent housing for adults and families with disabilities, as well as individuals experiencing homelessness.
These programs offer eligible individuals access to below‑market rental rates, helping ensure they are not rent‑burdened. Our properties consist of shared group homes located within residential communities throughout the Hampton Roads area. Each resident has their own private bedroom, while common areas—including the kitchen, bathrooms, dining room, living room, and outdoor spaces—are shared with other tenants. Homes typically include three to five units. Eligibility includes meeting HUD‑established income limits as well as the required definition of disability, which includes chronic mental or developmental disabilities. Provides small group home living in a single family home environment where 3-4 individuals share a living space. The homes are fully staffed according to the needs of each individual with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Referrals and placement is based upon the recommendations from the services provider, Community Alternatives Inc.
CAMG serves the most vulnerable population with a priority of chronic homelessness. All CAMG housing referrals are received through Virginia Beach Coordinated Entry. Supportive Housing Counselors assist in developing and maintaining a safe and sanitary living environment, social and interpersonal skills, and activities of daily living related to household management.

Housing and Neighborhood Preservation administers the federally funded Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program for Virginia Beach. To be eligible for CAMG’s housing you must already have your HCV voucher.

Other personal information that we collect is important to run our programs, to improve services for homeless persons, and to better understand the needs of homeless persons. We only collect information that we consider to be appropriate.
The collection and use of all personal information is guided by strict standards of confidentiality. A copy of our Notice of Privacy Practices is available to all Clients upon request
We will not deny client services based on inability to pay or an individual’s race, color, sex, national origin, disability, religion or sexual orientation. Your privacy is important to us and will be protected.
